The big Dashain festival has just passed and we send all children living in the home to their family members for as much as possible. But there is always a group of children left who have nobody and thus cannot go "home".

With them I always do something special to soothe the pain. Last year we went to Chitwan National Park where we rode an elephant. This year we went to Barhabise and to the Tibetan border. There is a "hotspring" that is considered sacred so all the children took a nice hot shower there. On the way we saw beautiful waterfalls, thanks to the monsoon and we visited the highest bungee jump. In short, it was a great and successful outing for these children with wonderful food on the way!
