Awareness could be considered one of the buzz words within the field of development work. Nonetheless, if conducted in the right way, it can serve as a stable base to place development initiatives upon. This is why awareness activities are included in all our programs. This is aimed to increase awareness on (reproductive) health, raising children, care for livelihoods and empowerment. The awareness programs conducted by SVN can be categorized as: sustainable use of livelihoods and environment, empowerment, health and sanitation and income generation.
